This pastel came about from having a great day drawing in a Life-Drawing Workshop. The pose is simple to maintain the 4 1/2 hours of posing. In this case I really enjoy arranging the whole scene. Pastel is a great medium for me. What I love about working with it is that it facilitates seeing fresh and subtle changes of colors--like the pinkish tone of the shadow on the white wall.
