This is a thumbnail painting study for The Slipper. It is the size of a postcard. This was based from all the different studies I had compiled for the life sized painting. With this sketch, it is not so much about the person but about my internal vision for the painting's essence of light and color. It is kind of oxymoron; to get the big picture of painting it helps to studies really tiny.
