The model and the mood of this piece reminds
me of Shakespeare's Puck from A Midsummer Night's Dream. And I thought of
spring, like a budding plant. The arms and their shadows remind me of branches,
and the arch in the back combined with the light on his stomach remind me how a
young plant bends its stem breaking through the ground.
