Florida Studio, 2005, pastel on paper, 19x26" $800

I love everything about being an artist. I love a studio floor littered with drawings, paintings, and pastels. And I think easels are very interesting tools and have fantastic shapes. The perspective in the this drawing might look funny but it is correct. The back wall is a temporary one made of cotton duck and wood framing that I used as a background wall for my painting. There was an air-conditioning unit that I wanted to not look at. It might be a little odd that a painter is painting his own studio, much like painting self-portraits...not sure where all that inspiration comes from but one point is that I love to be not only in my studio but I love to be in other artists' studios...its like entering into their minds.
