Plein Air painters say that you make developments with every 80 paintings you make! I am getting somewhere around the 80 mark. Painting fresh from nature is such a wonderful way to explore the medium of paint--it really is like a universe in itself. There are so many possibilities of color combinations and textures of thick or thin paint.  I love the contrast between the lightness of the sky and the color of the water here.
