Argentinian Geraniums, 1993-2007, pastel on paper, 19x26"  $700

I have always loved geraniums. They grow like weeds, hard to kill, and always look so bright and happy. Artistically, flowers can be a cliché to paint or draw, but I enjoy attempting them every once in awhile. I had started this ages ago in 1994, and kept the drawing around, there was something not quite right--last week I tweaked a little here and there and ended with this. I like this piece very much, makes me happy to look at it.
