This is the first painting I did on the Mexican trip. It was also my first demo of the week. It was drizzly morning, with lots of gray and cool blue color. I wanted to show how you can make a painting colorful even through a dull gray light. The burnt orange walls of the bull right, and red of the bougainvillea where the accents I planned on from the beginning. I think this painting gives a lovely sense to environment in which we spent a wonderful week.
