Descending Mist, 2005-6,
oil on canvas panel, 12x16" $700
I painted this at the end of a chilly day with the Pacific down a cliff and directly behind me. A mist so thick it was almost a drizzle was descending from the hills in the background, and the light was ebbing. I painted with a lot of medium, loosely, and with big strokes to create a flow of transparent wash.
Hand-painted ornate frame in dark earth green oil.
