I never overlook the possibilities for metaphors in my visual field. This San Onofre cave is no exception. Quite deliberately I played off the erotic associations, indeed, I can't see how any artist could not, painting this cave! One of the great enjoyments in making explorations is the freedom it gives you to go off the beaten track--to let yourself go and to try new things.
