This rope swing was just baiting me to either paint it or give it a try. It is on Kauai, at the mouth of small river at the local's beach. It was painted last December, and it held the promise of a lot of summer fun, yet, it felt kind of desolate, and the eerie association of a rope hanging from a tree.

Can you detect that there is a very slight breeze? The white rope was gently swaying while I was painting it.
