In February I gave two workshops, The Anatomy of Light in Santa Monica, and Zoom! in St. Petersburg, Florida. It's a great pleasure to share knowledge with enthusiastic artists. I have been careful to keep the workshops centered on a theme; keeping it simple, yet thorough enough to immerse the artists.

Julie Yoo commented about her recent experience:
"Working with you was a revelation!  You have quite a knack for channeling your gifts into fruitful instruction (which is itself another gift).  Looking back at how you deliberately broke down the challenges of rendering light, I appreciate all the more the thought that went into your structured lessons."

The Eye is this month's art tutorial, it is about how to wrap the eye lids and shadow around the eye ball. And this weekend, March 20-21, I am giving the portrait workshop, Expression in Form and Shadow.
