Setting Up the Sky and Dust Before the Star Stage

This is my first major work using the color theory from my Wave Series. The upper section of the sky is a color combination of sienna, ultra marine, turquoise, and magenta with turquoise tinting the distance. I am putting in the sky and dust clouds of the Milky Way, when I am finished blocking it in I will add pockets and single stars, calibrating their brilliance to move through space.
In writing Evolution Through Art, I was surprised by the significance of erotic elements present in our most evolutionary works. When you combine eroticism with the nude, and its projection of authenticity (there is nothing to hide behind), you get the ingredients for our most intimate moments, and hopefully, a celebration of love.
