Both the Surbers and myself are over the moon, with the painting and its setting and pencil-thin frame.
A special thanks goes out to them, and to all my collectors of the last 50 years. They have invested their hard earned money in my and other artists’ works. And they have collected figurative art against massive social pressure and enormous Deepstate BlackOp, that includes contemporary art museums, institutions, university fine arts departments, and aesthetic journals. To collect serious art under that ruthless pressure is an heroic achievement and credit to their self esteem.
