Art is the Provenance of Spirituality
Some art, like this pastel drawing, pull our spiritual strings. Visual predates religion and philosophy by 30,000 years. Makes one wonder if art is provenance of spirituality? All religions use art is some degree, architecture, music, stories, and/or visual art. Shouldn’t we bypass the middlemen and simply look for spirituality through art?
